Your responsibilities
- Shaping the future of the embedded SW development in a team of experts while working on cutting-edge PMT in a complex automotive ECU environment
- Analyzing existing process definitions (Embedded Software Development Framework) esp. process step that includes all activities related with specification and verification of software architectural design elements in order to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and developing strategies to improve them
- Handling of 3rd party software, as well as free and open-source software as assigned to this process step
- Implementing and managing methodologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Support in selecting, implementing, and maintaining tools and software that support defined process and methodologies
- Working with various ECU projects to ensure that process and methodologies align with their goals, principles and working models
- Providing documentation, training and support to staff on new process, methodologies, and tools
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of implemented processes and methodologies in to ensure they meet desired outcomes and defined KPIs
- Ensuring that defined process and methodologies comply with industry standards and regulations
- Establishing and managing processes for regular architecture reviews and assessments
- Continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement in processes, methodologies, and tools
Your qualifications & skills
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a related field
- Several years of working experience in the automotive area
- Experienced in SW requirements engineering, SW architecture and SW detailed design
- Knowledge of design patterns and best practices in software architecture
- Familiarity with Agile practices to ensure that software architecture definition process evolves with iterative development
- Familiarity with process management tools and software
- Very good documentation and presentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders and effectively convey complex architectural concepts to stakeholders
- Ability to train and support staff on new processes, methodologies, and tools
